DAY 01: Arrival Calcutta or Delhi
Assistance upon arrival followed transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 02: Delhi or Calcutta
Full day city sightseeing.

DAY 03: Delhi or Calcutta/ Darjeeling
After breakfast transfer to Domestic airport to Connect flight to Bagdogra. Meeting and assistance on arrival in Bagdogra followed by 03-hour drive to Darjeeling. Darjeeling (2,135m) was built by the British in mid 1800 primarily an R & R center for their troops. But over a period of time it has been recognized itself as one of the most important hill stations in India. Darjeeling still has a lot of the Old World charm of a typical English summer retreat. The road climbs very gradually along the tracks of the Ancient Toy Train, which was started as well by the British passing through numerous small villages and the important town of Kurseong. On arrival in Darjeeling check into Hotel. Rest of evening at leisure to explore this beautiful town.

Day 04: Drive Darjeeling to Daramdin in Western Sikkim. Daramdin is a market village in Sikkim. This is also the place where the Lepchas (original inhabitants of Sikkim) tried to reach Heaven by stacking pots made out of mud. If one looks carefully one can still find bits and pieces of the pottery. O/n Tents

Day 05: Drive Darmadin to Darap enroute visit Pemayangtse Monastery. The second oldest Monastery of Sikkim belonging to the old unreformed Nyingmapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. O/n Tents

Day 06: Drive Darap to Yaksum the first capital of Sikkim enroute visiting Kechipalri Lake the holiest of holy lake. Evening visit Dubdi Monastery and Stone Throne where the First King of Sikkim was crowned. O/n Tents

Day 07: Drive Yaksum to Tashiding. Visit Tashiding Monastery. This is the Monastery which predicts the coming year over Sikkim. Every year around Mid March The Bumchu Festival is held here. The highlight if the festival is the opening of the Sacred Cave which houses the "Jar" given to the Monastery by Guru Padamsambhava. The water level in the Jar predicts the Year for Sikkim. Day 08: Drive Tashiding to Hot Springs of Sikkim. Spend the rest of the day bathing in the revitalizing mineral springs. O/n Tents

Day 09: Drive to Gangtok. O/n Hotel

Day 10: A.M. sightseeing in Gangtok visiting the World famous Rumtek Monastery, Enchey Monastery Flower Exhibitions Show( subjected to flowering season) and local Bazaar.

Day 11: Drive Gangtok to Bagdogra in time to catch flight for Delhi/ Calcutta

Day 12: Fly home
