INSTRUCTIONS
(1) The demand draft should be obtained from any branch of State
Bank of India & drawn in favor of "Pay & Account
Officer Ministry of Communications" The draft should be payable at
its NEW DELHI (Main Branch).
(2) The fee for operating license is to be paid on demand only.
(3) On receipt of application in the Ministry of Communications, an important
license will be issued to enable the team to clear the equipment from
cusions. The equipment should then be presented to the Engineer-in-charge,
International Monitoring Station, Giatorni New Delhi-110030 for inspection.
On receipt of inspection report, action will be initiated for grant of
operating license.
(4) It is desirable that the walkie-talkies brought in by the team be
capable of operation in the Citizen Bank (26,965 to 27255 MHZ) with R
F power output not exceeding 2 watts. Failure to meet this requirement
may cause delay in issuing operating license. In certain cases the license
may even be refused.
(5) The equipment should re- exported after the expedition is over.
Note: In order to avoid delay in the grant of W/T license (authorization)
by the Ministry of Communications to the Mountaineering expedition parties,
the following frequencies with the working parameters mentioned against
them have been earmark/Unauthorized.

All the Mountaineering Expeditions should keep their requirements within
the above frequencies and parameters as far as possible. This will help
in expeditious clearance/authorization for grant of W/T license.
