History and development:
Adventure India was established in 1997 by few tourism post graduates,
academicians and trekking guides of Himachal. The aim was set to combine
"adventure with utmost safety and luxury". This could be the first time
when different products were undertaken for extensive research and the
team has covered entire India with explorers and travelers from France,
Germany, UK, Spain, Italy and Austria. Camp Sarchu Heights was established
in 2001 as "world's highest luxury resort" on Manali- Leh highway and
which is quickly turning into the "highest place for volunteer tourism"
based on high altitude medical assistance projects. One of our major
research works assists an adventurer to virtually explore "Almost Unseen"
routes in Himalayas and our ambitious project launching shortly is to
teach "Buddhism Online". We wish global travelers to join our projects
so travel could be made the most respectful phenomenon of human development.
Area of operations:
We are excellent in adventure operations in Ladakh & Himachal where
we have our roots deep in the history, we are good in Garwhal which
is a neighboring state and we are new but cautious about Sikkim. Golden
Triangle, Varanasi, Khajuraho, Aurangabad etc. places are equally open
and welcoming for us as these are for any regular Indian travel agent,
being Buddhists by births we claim for best presentation of Indian Buddhist
circuits with authority in religion that we everyday practice, we have
experience of luxury camping in various places of Rajasthan including
Pushkar and operate these tours through our Delhi office. Our current
area of research is Orissa and we already have visited this beautiful
state and designed a tour for next year.
What's different with us?
We sincerely accept tourism as a major tool for the development of local
host community and destination but we have lot more to offer to our
clients claiming ourselves pioneers at many places of service delivery.
We do at least five to ten different research works every year related
to tourism, culture and society. All our programs listed in the web
site are nicely reconnaissance which you will simply trace out while
having a look on detailed itineraries. We do have extensive networking
in India which is a combination of 10% travel agents, 20% travel guides
and 70% tourism academicians. In Himalayas we do have a supporting team
made of doctors, army officials, mountaineering experts, local administrations
and surely the local people from almost every village of Himachal and
Ladakh. We are the only organization that offers "medical escorts and
lady escorts" in Himalayas. We are pioneer in designing special kinds
of toilets for Sarchu and mobile camps that one can always use as a
part of utmost comfort. We do give proper training to young Himalayan
generation interested in tourism. We are proud of our guides and escorts
who have become the guarantee of successful adventure and study tours
from Ladakh Himalayas to Indian Coastal lines.

summers and moves to Orissa and Rajasthan in winters.
